For my paid subscribers, I’m sharing from my work in progress, The Real Housewives of the Revolution. It’s the story of a fictional woman named Jennie July, who I imagine is the one woman who was present at Seneca Falls in 1848 who lived to cast a vote after the 19th Amendment was finally ratified. It is also the story of how American women got the vote.

This time, Jennie successfully escaped. After a weepy farewell to Diana on the front porch of her childhood home, she boarded a train intent on New York City but for some reason lost to history, she disembarked in Seneca Falls instead.
